After a two week break from touring, and the cast gallivanting up and down the country working on other projects, we are now reunited and Tiger is back on the road!
The first stop was Eastgate Arts Centre in sunny Peebles on Monday, where we performed Tiger Tale as part of the Imaginarium Children’s festival. The schools are out for the October break at the moment so it’s a busy time for us, with lots of young people looking for exciting things to do.
The show went really well, it felt refreshed from the break and thankfully we had the chance to do a run-through beforehand. The wee ones and their adults were positively wide-eyed and expressive throughout. It’s always rewarding to see the Tiger’s influence when the audience starts roaring and taking on a feline physicality as they play in the performance space after the show.
Next stop. What’s it called? Cumbernauld! I’m looking forward to returning to the theatre here. From the outside it looks like a quaint little cottage in the woods, inside you can submerge into the depths of what feels like a labyrinth of performance spaces carved into a hill.
Love it. Maybe I’ll see you there.
