Barrowland Ballet, in partnership with macrobert arts centre are delighted to announce their latest project, Bunty & Doris. Following the success of Ultra Violet at last year’s Luminate Festival, Barrowland Ballet and macrobert’s latest community dance project presents a heart-warming and humorous dance theatre piece, with an intergenerational cast. Led by acclaimed choreographer Natasha Gilmore, Bunty and Doris take a surreal and comical look at their life over a cup of tea or two.
We are now recruiting for older dancers aged 50+ to join us in our latest dance project, Bunty & Doris. The project will run through September and October with public performances on Tuesday 22 October at Platform in Glasgow and on Saturday 26 October at the macrobert arts centre in Stirling.
A full schedule of dates is attached, if you are interested in joining please complete the Booking Form and email to belinda@barrowlandballet.wpcomstaging.com
We would like to thank Creative Scotland and Age Scotland and the support of Platform which has made this project possible.
