Get Set GlasgGOw

The Site Specific piece Get Set GlasGOw was a participative dance performance taking place over the London 2012 Olympic ‘Open Weekend’, 23 & 24 July marking one year to go until the London Olympics. Performed as part of the Merchant City Festival and the programme of events to launch the new Riverside Museum.
It offered an exhilarating experience with dances inspired by the dynamic movement and drama of Olympic sports, with live music from Shooglenifty and a large community cast of dancers.
Glasgow Life commissioned choreographer, Natasha Gilmore to create Get Set GlasGOw in collaboration with Dance House, YDance, Indepen-dance, Shooglenifty and designer, Jennie Loof.
