We are delighted to announce that Belinda McElhinney will be returning to the Barrowland Ballet team as Executive Producer (maternity cover) starting next Monday 17th August.

Speaking about her return Belinda said:

“I am delighted to return to Barrowland Ballet as Executive Producer and continue the wonderful programme of work that the company has been building. It has always been an agile and dynamic organisation, supported by a team of staff and freelancers with an abundance of talent and dedication. I know the company will respond with passion and creativity to the challenges this next year will bring and am excited to discover the new ways we can connect our work with our audiences and participants.

My last production at Barrowland Ballet was Playful Tiger and I have been thrilled to watch from afar how it has been produced to make its mark on the sector nationally and internationally. I was eagerly anticipating the premiere of the latest productions Learning to Fly and Into the Blue and was saddened by their inevitable halting as a result of Covid 19. I now look forward to being involved in the latest phase of Barrowland Ballet’s creative journey bringing existing and new work to life.”
