We’re delighted to announce that Jo Walmsley will be joining the Barrowland Ballet team as Executive Producer from the 29th October 2018. 

Joining us with a proven track record in producing successful, complex and high profile cultural programmes across the UK and internationally, Jo’s previous work includes Take Part, the award winning participation programme at Tramway contemporary arts space in Glasgow; Tramway’s Unlimited Festival, an international programme celebrating extraordinary work by disabled artists; Turner Prize 2015, the prestigious UK contemporary arts exhibition and award; Culture 2014, a multi-million pound nationwide arts programme inspired by Glasgow’s Commonwealth Games’s; London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Torch Relay; and the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games handover Ceremony.

Jo is passionate about equity of access to exceptional arts experiences, the transformational power of cultural participation and orchestrating unanticipated moments of magic.
