A highlight of the year for Barrowland Ballet was the chance to perform at the media launch of the Queen’s Baton Relay for the Commonwealth Games 2014. Natasha choreographed the dance piece working with Maryhill Integration Network and Barrowland Ballet youth company which was performed in the Emirates Arena. With live musicians, over 25 performers and joined by 70 school children for the finale the atmosphere was electric and the arena was buzzing. The response from the audience was overwhelming and everyone left feeling that the Commonwealth Games journey in Glasgow had really begun.
