We’ve had a great year at Barrowland Ballet with great projects like Dancing Voices, commissions for the Commonwealth Games 2014 and the launch of our Barrowland Ballet youth company. So many wonderful projects we decided we needed a new website to do them all justice.

I hope you enjoy the website, we have introduced a Gallery where you can check out some of the pictures of our productions old and new. There is also an Opportunities section so if you are interested in joining us for any projects this would be the place to look. The website will be updated with our latest news and there is a mailing list you can sign up to, to make sure you don’t miss out.

There is a busy time ahead for us as A Conversation with Carmel is going out on tour again and we are performing in some venues for the first time and returning to old friends. We start at Universal Hall, Findhorn on Wednesday 15 May and visit Woodend Barn 22 May, Beacon Arts Centre 29 May, Perth Concert Hall 1 June, Tramway 5 June and finish at Eden Court on 8 June. Come and see the show or if you want, be part of it and get involved in the community cast.

We are also starting work on two news show for touring in the autumn, one for children and one for adults, so we will keep you updated with pictures and let you know how that is going. Enjoy the website and hope to see you at A Conversation with Carmel.
