Madame Bazie

Natasha Gilmore’s funny and touching autobiographical solo performance was inspired by her work with asylum seekers looking at what brought them to Glasgow. Using dance and humour, Natasha reflects on her own cultural heritage, relationships, serial monogamy and the change from her native North London to Glasgow.
“Communicative and playful. Gilmore adapts a variety of styles, from ballet to disco...the boundaries of dance are challenged and extended.”
The Skinny
“Madame Bazié, a splendid showcase for the voraciously physical, quick change personality of it's creator, Natasha Gilmore..”
The Times
“Fusing comic-theatre with choreography, she could be the Catherine Tate of the contemporary dance world.”
