Wolf Pack 

In 2016, Barrowland Ballet launched Scotland’s very first intergenerational company, Wolf Pack.

Led by Artistic Director, Natasha Gilmore, Wolf Pack is a free, non-audition, intergenerational company for participants aged 8-80+. Together, the company explore contemporary movement through choreographic tasks and improvisation; gain insight into the professional devising process; and create and perform as a company.

Through Wolf Pack we reduce barriers to access, tackle isolation and platform intergenerational voices; showcasing and celebrating the creativity and strengths of different generations.

Across the years, Wolf Pack have performed at prestigious Scottish festivals including Dance International Glasgow, Gathered Together Festival and Go Dance, Theatre Royal Glasgow, and their dance films Wolf and And I’ll Huff have earned laurels from film festivals worldwide. In 2019, their performance Wolves won ‘Most Innovative Project’, Generations Working Together and they have been featured in Community Dance’s animated online magazine

*Young Start aims to create opportunities for Scotland’s children and young people aged 8 to 24 to help them realise their full potential. Young Start is a grants programme run by the Big Lottery Fund, which is distributing money from dormant bank accounts. Dormant accounts are deposits of money in bank and building society accounts where there has been no activity for 15 years or more.
