Whiteout

Responding to her experience in a bi-‐racial white European / black African relationship and as the mother of children of mixed heritage, acclaimed choreographer Natasha Gilmore gives resonance to the complexities of racial difference in a predominately white Scotland. This is a heartfelt dance theatre piece that explores the dynamics of everyday interactions with honesty and humour, it raises questions of belonging and shines a light on all of us. The content is informed by personal experiences and will challenge people’s perspectives. The work is visually exciting with life size projections onto screen, which will metamorphosise into a live dance piece.
